We know that together we will achieve success, so apply now and become part of this great team. **Responsibilities and Duties** ***Your day-to-day at Topaz:*** * Work on the development and evolution of platform microservices, focusing on quality, performance, and scalability. * Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team within an agile environment. * Develop and maintain microservices in Java using Spring Boot. * Model data and integrate with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch/Redis). * Write automated tests and ensure code quality. * Implement and consume messaging/streaming (Kafka). * Monitor and optimize performance, logs, and metrics. **Requirements and Qualifications** ***What is required to join Topaz?*** * Proven experience as a **Java Backend Developer (Mid-level)** * Experience with **microservices** * Solid knowledge of **Java 8 or later** * Practical experience with **Spring Boot** * Experience developing **RESTful APIs** * Experience with **JPA/Hibernate** * Knowledge of **relational databases** (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) * Experience with **Git** * Knowledge of **Spring Security** (JWT, OAuth2\) * **Hands-on experience with Docker** * **Knowledge of messaging systems** (Kafka, RabbitMQ) * Familiarity with **CI/CD** * **Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)** * Knowledge of **unit testing** (JUnit, Mockito or similar) * Bachelor’s degree in technology-related fields or equivalent experience * Experience with BPMN tools (a plus) * Experience developing systems for financial products, channels, and transaction processing (individuals or legal entities) (a plus) **Additional Information** **Keep in mind these benefits that will enhance your experience at Topaz!** **Health and Well-being:** Because we care about our teams, we offer various health plans focused on promoting well-being across the organization. **Personal and Professional Development:** We are constantly evolving.
