The professional will accompany and develop pedagogical and accessibility resources, promoting student autonomy and participation in specialized support.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
Monitor the functionality and applicability of pedagogical and accessibility resources in mainstream regular education classrooms, as well as in other school environments;
Consult with teachers, pedagogical and school counselors, and NAU to establish objectives related to the pedagogical process of students receiving specialized support;
Develop and implement the Specialized Educational Support Plan, evaluating the functionality and applicability of pedagogical and accessibility resources;
Conduct activities aimed at preventing, identifying, and potentially resolving educational difficulties in collaboration with teachers, pedagogical counselors, and school counselors;
Review the Student Monitoring Record (RAD), which includes incident records and other didactic\-pedagogical activities;
Teach and use assistive technology to enhance students' functional skills, promoting autonomy and participation;
Collaborate with mainstream classroom teachers to ensure availability of pedagogical and accessibility resources that foster student participation in school activities;
Establish intersectoral partnerships to develop strategies and provide accessibility resources;
Guide teachers and families regarding the pedagogical and accessibility resources used by the student;
Participate in Class Councils, providing prior information to School Counselors about students served under AEE.
Continuously pursue teaching quality in all services provided across all educational levels offered by CAU;
Safeguard, in a designated location at the school, documents and attendance protocols, as well as maintain confidentiality of information related to students served;
Perform other duties related to those described above, as required and/or at the discretion of the immediate supervisor;
Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment;
Identify unsafe conditions and actions within the school premises;
Identify, create, or request accessibility resources for the environment or knowledge whenever barriers exist;
Participate in the development/restructuring of the Pedagogical Project and collaborate with school-family-community integration activities;
Participate in qualitative and quantitative analyses of academic performance of students receiving specialized educational support, together with teachers, Pedagogical Counselors, and School Counselors, thereby enhancing the teaching\-learning process;
Participate in meetings with parents/guardians whenever necessary to promote actions inherent to daily school life;
Participate in professional development programs offered by the school;
Provide information whenever requested;
Procure necessary materials for student support during routine activities;
Conduct and/or promote research and studies, issuing technical opinions and information;
Respect each student's uniqueness and individuality, creating situations that boost self-esteem, treating them with affection and strengthening the bond;
Ensure order, discipline, preservation of teaching materials and school facilities among students, encouraging cleanliness and organization.
**Requirements**
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Pedagogy with specialization in Special Education;
Experience in the field of Special Education;
Availability to work 20 hours per week;
Strong communication skills, organizational ability, knowledge of technologies, and creativity.
