**Responsibilities and Duties**
Provide basic life support to victims of accidents, sudden illness, or other emergencies, following medical protocols and guidance. Rescue Operations: Operate in hard-to-access locations, extracting victims from wreckage or hazardous situations using specialized rescue techniques and appropriate equipment. Patient Transport: Assist in the safe transport of patients via ambulance, ensuring clinical stability during transit to healthcare facilities. Support for Healthcare Teams: Collaborate with healthcare professionals in performing emergency procedures such as immobilization, oxygen therapy, and hemorrhage control. Equipment Maintenance and Organization: Inspect ambulance equipment and supplies to ensure they are serviceable; maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and perform pre-washing of processable items. Unit Hygiene (in concurrent and terminal modalities): Execute routine hygiene procedures for ambulances, ensuring they meet appropriate sanitary standards for patient transport and team safety. Prevention and Safety: Apply safety techniques during incident response to protect the team, the victim, and the surrounding environment. Documentation and Reporting: Complete attendance reports (incident logbook), recording essential information about incidents for analysis and continuity of medical care.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:**
* Certifications \- NR 06, NR 12, and NR 32 (may be provided by our Unicorp);
* Vehicle extrication course (a differentiating factor);
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
* Pre-Hospital Care (PHC) course — (with over 200 hours of instruction);
* Trauma Patient Support certification;
* Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine;
* Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTP) vaccine;
* Hepatitis B vaccine;
* Varicella vaccine;
* Influenza vaccine;
* Yellow fever vaccine;
