Through learning, analytics, and relationship solutions, we help schools become better, larger, and more engaging for students, educators, and families. **\#JoinArco \#BeTheTech** **Now that you’ve grasped a bit more of our essence, shall we talk about this opportunity?** ### **What challenges will you tackle with us?** * Design and implement solutions for the platform’s most complex challenges — from high-scale pipeline architecture to data modeling decisions impacting multiple consumer teams; * Conduct in-depth technical code reviews, highlighting trade-offs regarding performance, cost, and maintainability; * Serve as a technical reference point: investigating production inconsistencies, optimizing cloud costs; * Collaborate with partner teams to define how data flows into models — discussing data contracts, latency, quality, and governance; * Identify significant technical debt, propose timing for resolution, and lead execution; * Work in an AI-driven environment where we actively use AI to boost team productivity — and contribute ideas on how this applies to data engineering. ### **What we expect from you:** * Python, Scala, Java, or Go; * SQL; * Algorithms, data structures, and application scalability; * Distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Beam; * Containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes; * CI/CD; * Platform monitoring and observability; * Pipeline orchestration with Airflow, dbt, or Dataform; * Google Cloud Platform solutions (e.g., BigQuery, GCS, GKE, IAM, Dataproc, Cloud SQL, Composer, Pub/Sub, Dataflow); * Management and maintenance of analytical visualization platforms (Metabase, Looker, Tableau) Nice-to-have: * Experience or study in AI architectures applied to data: e.g., structuring pipelines for RAG, how MCP standardizes agent access to data sources, and ensuring quality and traceability in agentic systems where behavior is non-deterministic; * Building data warehouse, data lake, or data lakehouse environments; * Infrastructure as Code Diversity is one of Arcotech’s core pillars.
