If you are a results-driven individual who enjoys making a difference, we would love to have you join us in driving business growth. **Responsibilities and Duties** ### **Position Summary** We are seeking a Software Development Specialist with strong backend expertise, responsible for technically leading the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions. This professional will serve as the technical reference within the team, participating from architecture conception through continuous delivery into production. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Technically lead backend system and service development; * Define and evolve architectures (monoliths, microservices, event\-driven); * Develop robust and scalable APIs (REST and/or GraphQL); * Ensure code quality (testing, standards, code reviews); * Participate in defining software engineering best practices; * Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams; * Drive technical decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, and security; * Support and mentor team developers; * Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolution of critical incidents; * Influence the technical roadmap and platform evolution. **Requirements and Qualifications** #### **What You Need:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in: Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Computer, Software), Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology in Systems Analysis and Development (ADS), or related fields. * Solid backend development experience (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or similar) * Experience building and maintaining APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) * Advanced knowledge of data modeling (SQL and NoSQL) * Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, contract testing) * Experience with version control (Git) and code review practices * Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) * Experience with containers (Docker) * Solid full-stack development experience, with emphasis on senior-level roles. * Advanced proficiency in frontend programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like Angular. * Proven experience developing and maintaining web back\-end applications using C\#. * In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB), along with skills in designing and optimizing complex database schemas. * Experience leading development projects and guiding junior team members. * Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure management. * Advanced knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices. * Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex technical challenges. #### **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) * Hands-on experience with Kubernetes * Experience with CI/CD pipelines * Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, tracing) * Experience handling high-volume data and mission-critical systems * Experience with platform engineering practices * Participation in large-scale architectural decisions * Advanced English proficiency **Additional Information** **Our Benefits** --------------------- Opportunity to work at a company undergoing constant expansion Special occasion gifts On-site cafeteria (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack) Meal allowance Life insurance Shuttle service / Transportation allowance Pet care plan Medical assistance Dental assistance Mental health program Childcare support Maternity kit Pharmacy discount program Profit Sharing and Results Program Partnerships with universities and language schools Relaxation area Workplace gymnastics PDE\&I \- Educational and Language Development Program Flexible dress code Wellhub Program (Gympass) *Gertec does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, gender, age, non-disabling disability, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other factor prohibited by local legislation.
