**Responsibilities and duties**
* **Define and evolve** the architecture of systems and platforms
* **Establish technical standards**, best practices, and architectural guidelines
* **Participate in the conception** of new solutions and support strategic decision-making
* **Evaluate improvements** to legacy systems, reducing technical debt
* **Conduct architecture reviews**, code reviews, and technical validations
* **Lead complex technical discussions** and support resolution of critical issues
* **Define integration strategies** among systems, APIs, and distributed services
* **Ensure non-functional requirements**, such as security, observability, and high availability
* **Collaborate with product**, DevOps, and operations teams for sustainable deliveries
* **Participate in defining cloud**, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD architectures
* **Evaluate technologies** and conduct proof-of-concepts with technical recommendations
* **Document architectures**, technical workflows, and adopted standards
* **Monitor technical metrics** and propose actions for continuous improvement
* **Proactively identify risks**, bottlenecks, and operational impacts
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Development or related field;
* Solid and proven experience in software architecture within distributed environments;
* Experience with REST APIs, messaging systems, microservices, and integrations;
* Knowledge of cloud computing and container orchestration (Kubernetes);
* Hands-on experience with observability, production monitoring, and troubleshooting;
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines (Jenkins / GitOps);
* Technical leadership capability and clear communication skills;
* Analytical, collaborative, proactive, and problem-solving oriented profile;
* Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases;
* Proficiency in Java \+ Spring Boot;
* For candidates based in Curitiba and its Metropolitan Region, this position is onsite;
* For candidates from other regions, monthly travel to Curitiba is required.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
* Experience with large-scale, highly available environments;
* Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture \& CQRS;
* Prior involvement in legacy system modernization initiatives;
* Ability to evaluate, propose, and integrate AI-based solutions into the company’s architecture and engineering processes;
* Proven experience with at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Node.js.
