Project Manager (Engineering)

Description

Approve purchases, monitor expense postings to the appropriate cost centers, validate photographic and daily construction reports, oversee construction execution, define production targets, supervise site visits for inspection, prepare construction measurement bulletins, inform the finance department of project data, develop and monitor physical-financial construction schedules, meet with clients, supervise site mobilization, analyze and evaluate optimal methods for executing projects, hire third-party services (photography, earthworks, equipment rental), prepare contract summary presentations, request issuance of travel tickets, accommodations, and travel advances, inform team members assigned to cost centers under management. **Responsibilities and Assignments** ### **Key Activities** * Monitor **construction planning** jointly with the Planner * Operate within the **RMS** system and all material-related workflows * Request and approve **hiring of services and equipment rentals** * Analyze, validate, and approve **supplier measurement bulletins** * Prepare **measurement bulletins for contracts** * Prepare **management reports** containing data from each contract for presentation to senior management * Conduct **periodic site visits** * Monitor **KPIs** and strategic planning targets * Lead **client meetings** (online and in-person) * Perform **monthly construction surveys and estimates** (forecasts up to 7 months) * Maintain an updated **contract backlog** * Prepare **contract closure minutes** (internal and external) * Request issuance of **CATs** upon contract completion * Hold **regular meetings with the construction team** * Perform **data entry and tracking in RM TOTVS (projects module)** ### **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in **Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering** * Proven experience in **construction management**, preferably in **substations** * Experience with **measurements, contracts, and supplier management** * Hands-on experience with **physical-financial construction planning** * Experience preparing **management reports and performance indicators** * Proficiency in **RM TOTVS (projects module)** or similar systems * Availability for **occasional travel** * **Valid driver's license** ### **Expected Technical Competencies** * Contract and measurement management * Construction planning and control * Resource and materials management * Interpretation of performance indicators and strategic targets * Contractual backlog organization * Interface with internal departments, suppliers, and clients ### **Expected Behavioral Profile** * Diplomatic profile, capable of building strong relationships with clients and teams * Clear, precise, and persuasive communication * Balanced and professional demeanor * Ability to multitask and stay organized * Proficiency in leading meetings and negotiations * Results-oriented mindset with strong commitment to goal achievement **Advance your career to its full potential: build the infrastructure powering Brazil.** Looking at an energized substation or a transmission line cutting across the horizon is not just seeing steel and cables.
