Job Summary: A professional responsible for monitoring, optimizing, configuring, and administering system software to ensure its stability, performance, and compliance with security standards. Troubleshooting and evaluation of new software Description: Education: Completed undergraduate degree in the following fields: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology-related disciplines. Certifications: * Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA); * Linux Professional Institute LPIC\-3 Responsibilities: * Monitor and optimize system software performance; * Resolve potential and actual service issues; evaluate new system software; * Review system software updates; * Provision and test system software updates; * Adhere to established security, protection, and quality standards; * Monitor operating systems for resource usage and failure rates to inform and facilitate system software tuning; * Apply system software parameters to maximize throughput and efficiency; * Install and test new versions of system software; * Contribute to the development of system software implementation procedures, including fallback contingency plans; * Monitor system software metrics and adjust configurations to optimize availability and performance; * Analyze system software updates and identify those requiring action; * Configure the system for required functionality and performance; * Investigate and resolve operating system issues, escalating to vendors when necessary; * Ensure system software is provisioned and configured to support service objectives; * Evaluate new system software and recommend adoption where appropriate; * Plan provisioning and testing of new system software versions; * Administer, operate, and maintain environments (e.g., development, staging, production, etc.) in accordance with the CONTRACTOR’s internal quality checklists and standards, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance; * Investigate and coordinate resolution of potential and actual service issues 2512120202501916218
