A culture of continuous learning, purpose, and real-world impact If you're at the beginning of your career and want to learn about distributed systems, APIs impacting millions of users, and grow alongside a team building the future of technology, this role is for you. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices, learning best practices for writing and organizing code; * Help create and test APIs that connect different systems and impact millions of users; * Support code instrumentation and documentation, understanding the importance of maintaining clear and scalable solutions; * Participate in code reviews—both receiving feedback and reviewing small snippets from peers; * Learn to apply CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) practices alongside the team; * Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to transform problems into valuable solutions; * Challenge yourself in a high-bar environment of exponential growth, exercising autonomy while always having team support; * Develop logical reasoning and the ability to make connections, proposing ideas and testing hypotheses. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Curious, interested, and learning-oriented individual, demonstrating openness to giving and receiving feedback; * Strong logical reasoning and ability to connect disparate pieces of information; * Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and less-structured environment; * Good communication and collaboration skills; * Proactivity in learning new things and finding paths forward—even when guidance is needed; * Knowledge of technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js; * Basic understanding of relational databases; * Interest in learning about GCP and cloud infrastructure; * Interest in learning software development best practices, such as design patterns, REST, and Clean Architecture; * Interest in learning about Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices; * Experience (even brief) with TypeScript and Node.js; (preferred) * Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases; (preferred) * Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS); (preferred) * Familiarity with REST; (preferred) * Interest in microservice architecture.
