Learn more on our website: https://br.sensedia.com/sensedia-careers ### **What Is the Role’s Mission?** Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs and services for software products, ensuring quality, security, and an outstanding customer experience. Solve complex problems using sustainable engineering practices (clean, testable, maintainable code) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on technical and product decisions. ### **What Will Your Day-to-Day Activities Be?** * Design, develop, and evolve backend services (REST APIs), focusing on availability, performance, and security. * Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making (event-driven, hexagonal, domain-driven). * Implement and maintain security standards (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, mTLS, JWT). * Conduct code reviews and uphold coding, testing, and documentation standards (OpenAPI/Swagger). * Monitor and optimize performance (profiling, query tuning, caching, concurrency). * Instrument observability (structured logs, metrics, distributed tracing) and respond to incidents. * Collaborate with Product, QA, SRE/Cloud, and Support teams; anticipate risks and propose mitigations. * Serve as a technical reference, supporting less experienced developers and promoting best practices. ### **What Are the Mandatory Requirements for This Role?** * Solid backend experience with Java (preferably 17+), OOP, and SOLID principles. * Spring Boot and hexagonal architecture; familiarity with event-driven patterns (e.g., SNS/SQS, domain events). * RESTful APIs and OpenAPI (Swagger) documentation. * Maven (or Gradle) for build and dependency management. * AWS: practical usage of SNS, SQS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, ECR, and DocumentDB/MongoDB. * Docker/docker-compose and basic Kubernetes knowledge (basic manifests, deployments, services, troubleshooting with kubectl). * Observability: logs, metrics, and tracing (concepts). * Relational and non-relational databases; modeling and query expertise. * CI/CD and agile methodologies (branching, pipelines, PRs, feature flags). * Application security: OWASP (ASVS/Top 10), JWT/JWS, mTLS, secrets management best practices. * Experience in critical, high-availability environments. * Identity & Security: hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management (Keycloak or equivalent) and production implementation of OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect. ### **What Are the Preferred Qualifications for This Role?** * Deep expertise in Keycloak (realms, clients, policies, mappers) and OAuth 2.0 (grants, PAR, JAR, DCR). * Advanced observability: Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry (end-to-end traces and metrics). * Performance & scalability: low latency/high concurrency (profilers, k6/JMeter, JVM tuning). * Helm and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) for standardized deployments. * JavaScript/TypeScript for maintaining test mocks/interceptors. * Participation in technical communities, events, or open-source projects. * Technical leadership (guilds, chapters, standard definition, mentoring). ### **Here, You’ll Find:** * Meal Allowance/Food Voucher (Flash Benefits Card), Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Profit-Sharing Program (PPR), TotalPass, Childcare Assistance, Well-Being Program (focused on physical and mental health), Corporate University (our #SensediaAcademy) with diverse development tracks; Cultural and educational partners offering special discounts; As a citizen company, we provide extended maternity and paternity leave. * Our value proposition is **#WorkWhereYouBelong**, a flexible work model designed to strengthen our Sensediers’ sense of belonging.
