Responsibilities and Duties As a Junior DevOps / Platform Engineer, you will support the construction, operation, and evolution of environments sustaining the company’s systems. Your main activities include: Supporting maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, performing adjustments and improvements under guidance from the senior team. Assisting in administration of Docker-based environments and tools for service orchestration or load balancing. Executing basic infrastructure routines, automation tasks, deployments, and provisioning. Supporting service monitoring and identification of potential incidents. Initial configuration of cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with team support. Collaborating with development and QA teams to standardize environments. Creating simple documentation, usage instructions, and operational records. Requirements and Qualifications Basic knowledge of Linux and infrastructure fundamentals. Familiarity with Docker or containers in general. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins). Basic networking knowledge, terminal commands, and scripting (Bash or Python). Experience with Git, even if academic or in personal projects. Completed or near-completion undergraduate degree in technology-related fields. **Desirable (Preferred):** Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Basic knowledge of Kubernetes or willingness to learn. Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Prior experience with personal projects, thesis work, hackathons, or lab environments. Interest in automation, pipelines, security, and observability. Experience or interest in urban mobility or high-scale environments. Valued Soft Skills Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
