Job Summary: The DBA will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and optimizing databases in high-volume environments and critical systems, ensuring availability, security, and performance. Collaboration with partner teams in developing data solutions As a DBA, you will administer, monitor, and optimize the company's databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will focus on high-volume environments and critical systems supporting large-scale operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, evaluate, and execute data update scripts with emphasis on performance and reliability. * Support analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of database-related issues in both development and production environments. * Ensure implementation of best practices for data modeling and persistence. * Understand business models and rules to ensure information governance. * Collaborate with partner teams to develop data solutions. * Ensure efficient data integration, enabling data cross-referencing and metric tracking. * Apply security policies at the data access layer to ensure compliance and information protection. * Promote automation techniques for database environment provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * Experience with highly critical and highly available environments. * Knowledge of relational and non-relational data modeling. * Hands-on experience with Oracle databases. * Experience with query optimization (tuning). * Familiarity with DevOps practices. **Additional Information** Transportation Allowance Meal Allowance Medical Assistance Dental Assistance Life Insurance Breakfast every day (yes, every single day!)
