The Compliance Engineer will support strategic efforts to improve Health, Safety and Environmental performance, providing technical expertise and personal coaching, including to contractors, especially in terms of ensuring compliance with regulatory and standards requirements within the discipline. The Compliance Engineer will support strategic efforts to improve Health, Safety and Environmental performance, providing technical expertise, and personnel coach, including to contractors, especially in terms of ensuring compliance with regulatory and standards requirements within the discipline. **Responsibilities and Duties** We are seeking a professional for the position of **Compliance Engineer** to work onshore. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support the implementation of programs and practices consistent with regulatory, normative and corporate requirements. * Provide expert technical support across all levels of the organization, especially in terms of ensuring compliance with regulatory and standards requirements within the discipline. * Provide expert hands\-on technical involvement on issues, programs, and processes involving compliance with standards and policies. * Support the improvement of the Integrated Management System \- IMS in accordance with guidelines of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM Code, ANP SGSO, and other regulations and standards applicable to MODEC do Brasil processes. * Develop and implement effective processes developed under the responsibilities of the Compliance sector (audit processes, assessment of legal requirements, among others). * Support investigations, elaboration of action plans and implementation of corrective actions for incidents and non\-conformities in order to be concluded and verified effectively, within the established by Integrated Management System. * Plan, organize, facilitate, and conduct internal audits, as well as monitor and support onshore and offshore operations during external audits and inspections related to relevant international and Brazilian standards and regulations (HSEQ), particularly those of the ANP, MTE, the Brazilian Navy, Anvisa, ABS, IMO, ISO, and MdB clients. * Ensure MdB has an efficient and competent internal audit organisation in place, to ensure compliance checking activities are carried out to the desired level of quality and technical competency. of quality and technical competency. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, naval, or electrical engineering, or a related scientific field. * Desirable: Master’s degree in Process Safety Engineering. * Desirable: ISO Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001\). * Required: Advanced English
