Description

Drive company vehicles to perform scheduled assignments; Conduct daily inspections of equipment before departure and after each loading/unloading, and record findings in the Daily Driver Checklist \- Enclosed Trailer, preventing disruptions and environmental, safety, and health risks during product transportation; Complete travel and delivery control documents and/or reports according to trips performed, for mileage tracking and compliance with current tax legislation; Immediately report any irregularities involving the product or equipment occurring during transit or loading/unloading operations, as well as traffic conditions that may cause delays, for scheduling analysis and, if necessary, to inform the customer of such irregularities (e.g., delays, accidents) to jointly determine required corrective actions; Maintain internal and external vehicle cleanliness, perform maintenance and refueling, ensuring a positive company image with customers and safe, trouble-free transportation; Communicate\-daily with the Operations Department to report current location and receive instructions or updated schedules; Accompany the operator throughout all loading and unloading operations to verify proper cargo placement inside the trailer, aiming to prevent cargo damage and prioritize items scheduled for first unloading. When required, assist in cargo placement inside the trailer, advising where to position goods; After full loading, secure cargo using straps according to the requirements of the customer receiving the goods; Issue Service Orders for corrective maintenance based on results of daily inspections, ensuring safe equipment and smooth future trips or handover to the next driver; When possible, notify Maintenance regarding observed irregularities; Support fleet movement within the garage or for external services; Chock wheels and engage parking brake at locations or situations where unintended vehicle movement may occur, such as inclines/declines, prolonged stops, waiting for loading/unloading clearance, extended parking, etc.; Replace tachograph discs; Perform other duties inherent to the role, complying with regulatory, statutory, and safety standards.
