We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join the Accounting team at an accounting consulting/advisory firm. For this role, it is essential to manage and supervise accounting activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards and legislation. We seek a candidate with team management capability and decision-making skills. In essence, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the company’s accounting activities.
**Accounting Coordinator responsibilities include:**
* Coordinate the accounting team and ensure accurate execution of routine tasks.
* Manage a high-complexity client portfolio (industries with high revenue and complexity).
* Provide technical support and coordination to the team.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
* Ensure fulfillment of ancillary obligations (SPED Contábil (Public Digital Accounting Bookkeeping System), SPED Fiscal (Public Digital Tax Bookkeeping System), ECD (Digital Accounting Bookkeeping), ECF (Digital Tax Accounting), DCTF (Federal Tax Debts and Credits Statement), DIRF (Withholding Income Tax Statement), among others).
* Implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Serve as a technical reference for the team and other departments.
* Orchestrate and develop the accounting team, ensuring timely deadlines and delivery of complex tasks.
**Requirements:**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences (Mandatory).
* Proficiency in the Domínio system (Mandatory).
* Proven experience in accounting and leadership roles (Mandatory).
* Experience in accounting consulting/advisory services, with exposure to various sectors (industry, commerce, services) (Mandatory).
* Team management capability and decision-making skills (Mandatory).
* High maturity, emotional intelligence, resilience, and composure (Mandatory).
* Technological proficiency and digital mindset (paperless accounting, use of tools, bank statement imports) (Mandatory).
* Active CRC (Regional Council of Accounting) registration (Mandatory).
* Experience supporting audits (not performing audits) (Desirable).

**Additional Information:**
* **Work Model:** Hybrid work in São Paulo. Initially, Work-from-Home (WFH) on Fridays, with potential evolution to alternating days (1 or 2 WFH days) within the first semester, without maintaining fixed Fridays.
* **Contract Type:** PJ (Legal Entity)
* **Working Conditions:** Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Mandatory physical presence for team coordination during standard business hours; flexible hours are considered exceptional.
* **Primary Location:** São Paulo, Jabaquara neighborhood.
Minimum Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
