Job Summary: Coordinate and deliver nursing care to patients, optimizing service delivery, prioritizing urgent cases, and ensuring continuous and safe treatment. Key Highlights: 1. Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients within the care pathway under your responsibility. Manage their treatment, prioritize urgent and emergency cases, and optimize access management. Ensure individualized, continuous, and safe patient treatment while contributing to rapid patient recovery and adherence to their therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide daily nursing care to patients within the care pathway under your responsibility, including: vital signs monitoring, preparation and administration of medications, nursing assessments, feeding, hygiene, wound dressings, repositioning, implementation of the nursing care systematization process, etc.; * Coordinate daily urgent and emergency response with speed, accuracy, and agility—ensuring availability of emergency carts stocked with necessary medications, equipment appropriate for each situation, and qualified professionals to treat patients at risk of death; * Daily guidance to nurses, nursing technicians, and nursing assistants regarding complex patients—including pathology and clinical status—to ensure high-quality care and contribute to rapid patient recovery; * Weekly evaluation of third-party progress notes, nursing prescriptions, and procedures performed—with focus on nursing care quality; * Daily coordination of patient admission activities, reception, monitoring via equipment, oxygen therapy, and medication administration per medical prescription; vital signs data control; laboratory sample collection, etc.; * Contribute to controlling materials and medications required for unit operations. Maintain all equipment in perfect working condition and promptly forward defective units for maintenance; * Optimize and expedite daily patient testing to facilitate timely result acquisition; * Monitor specific medical procedures such as central catheter insertion, drainage tubes, urinary catheters, etc.; * Inform the unit physician of patient complications—including changes in blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate, and other parameters; * Collaborate with the medical team in patient care: prepare vasoactive drugs; assist in invasive procedures (e.g., chest tube insertion, thoracentesis, central venous access puncture); perform upper airway suctioning; prepare drugs and position patients during orotracheal intubation performed by physicians; * Jointly analyze, with Continuing Education and the Inpatient Unit Nurse, Clinical Care Indicators, Performance Indicators, and Process Indicators—proposing solutions and setting goals to align indicators with standards; * Participate, whenever convened, in meetings related to institutional quality certification, acting as a strong communicator and multiplier of information and guidelines; * Weekly manage/participate in goal-planning initiatives for clinical units where your patients are located, during multidisciplinary meetings aimed at defining goals and improvement actions aligned with the institution’s strategic plan; * Participate in committees and working groups per criteria established by immediate supervisors—for example: EMTN, SCIH, Surgical Center Collegiate Board, SESMT, biosafety, reprocessing, hemoderivatives; * Provide pre- and post-operative guidance to patients and families, when applicable; * Actively participate daily in the Rapid Response Team within your units; * Attend periodic meetings with Nursing Supervision, Coordination, and Division for decision-making and information sharing; * Ensure daily Kanban updates; * Perform other duties pertinent to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; * Postgraduate specialization in the field of practice is desirable (e.g., Internal Medicine, Surgical Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Surgical Center); * Active COREN registration. **Additional Information** Shifts Available: 08:00 AM – 02:00 PM 02:00 PM – 08:00 PM The **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for Medical Development—is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility—respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8\.911 dated 07/30/1970\.
