The candidate will play a vital role in executing masonry, cladding, finishing, and related activities for our construction and renovation projects at the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital, ensuring facility quality and safety. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Execution of structural and enclosure masonry using concrete blocks, ceramic blocks, or other materials. * Preparation and application of mortars for installing claddings (flooring, tiles, mosaics, etc.). * Installation of internal and external claddings, ensuring proper leveling and alignment. * Construction of wooden formwork and reinforcement for simple concrete structures. * Execution of minor repairs and maintenance on existing masonry and claddings. * Interpretation of technical drawings and blueprints, adhering to technical specifications. * Proper use of civil construction tools and equipment, ensuring their maintenance and safe operation. * Collaboration with other members of the construction team (engineers, foremen, other masons, etc.). * Maintenance of site organization and cleanliness. * Compliance with occupational safety regulations. **Work Location:** Souza Aguiar Hospital Complex. Address: Praça da República, 111, Centro, Rio de Janeiro **Working Hours:** 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday \| 7 AM to 4 PM on Friday Requirements: **What We Require:** * Proven experience as a mason. * Specific experience in hospital construction projects (construction and renovation). * Proficiency in masonry, cladding, and finishing work. * Knowledge of various construction materials and their applications. * Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions. * Attention to detail and commitment to service quality. * Availability to work on-site. **Nice-to-Haves:** * Vocational training in civil construction. * Experience supporting building services (plumbing, electrical) at an auxiliary level. * Proactivity and problem-solving ability. * Commitment to deadlines and goals. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
