Opportunity for professional development and growth The kitchen assistant plays an essential role in operational support, being responsible for food pre\-preparation (washing, peeling, cutting), sanitizing utensils and the environment, organizing inventory, assisting in plating and finalizing dishes, and helping during service — all while strictly adhering to food safety standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepare food according to the nutritionist's instructions, ensuring quality and food safety; Assist in kitchen, utensil, and equipment sanitation and organization; Perform food pre\-preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits, vegetables, and greens; Assemble trays and distribute meals according to prescribed diets; Monitor food temperatures and record required information; Restock food items and utensils at distribution points; Follow hygiene and food safety regulations, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment); Collaborate with kitchen and work area cleaning and organization; Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies; Participate in training and capacity-building activities related to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education.
