Description

**Industrial Painter:** The Industrial Painter is responsible for surface preparation, paint application, and finishing of technical coatings on metal surfaces, especially on welded structures such as fuel tanks and pressure vessels. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare metal surfaces using blasting, sanding, wire brushing, or other cleaning methods; * Apply primers, industrial paints, epoxy, enamels, synthetic enamel, polyurethane (PU), and other types of coatings; * Perform painting using spray guns and rollers; * Monitor applied paint film thickness using instruments such as thickness gauges; * Prepare paint mixtures according to technical specifications; * Read and interpret technical data sheets, painting standards, and inspection plans; * Maintain painting equipment, ensure individual and collective safety, and keep the work environment organized. **Required Knowledge:** * **Metal surface preparation techniques**, including abrasive blasting; * **Types of industrial paints** and their specific applications (epoxy, polyurethane, anticorrosive, etc.); * **Painting equipment**: spray guns, airless pumps, compressors, thickness gauges; * **Reading and interpreting technical drawings** and painting specifications; * **Knowledge of anticorrosive protection** in aggressive industrial environments.
