Job Summary: Provide patient care across various units, coordinate emergency and urgent care services, and guide nursing teams to ensure individualized care and patient safety. Key Highlights: 1. Guidance and training of nursing teams Provide nursing care to patients across all institutional units, both clinical and surgical. Coordinate urgent and emergency care, ensure individualized patient treatment, and guide nursing technicians and assistants regarding quality and safety in patient care. Prioritize care for complex patients and contribute to rapid patient recovery by implementing the proposed therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform daily activities with the nursing team focused on Patient Safety practices, such as: correct patient identification, risk barriers for patients, among others; * Daily compliance with and enforcement of nursing team documentation to ensure continuity of care. Perform the daily "Surgical Safety Checklist"; * Respond promptly, accurately, and efficiently to emergencies and urgent situations; prepare the emergency cart, necessary equipment, and mobilize qualified professionals to treat patients at risk of life; * Guide and jointly perform complex patient care with nursing technicians and assistants to ensure high-quality assistance and contribute to rapid patient recovery; * 'Proficiency in nursing procedures exclusive to registered nurses: nasoenteral intubation, external jugular vein puncture, arterial blood collection. Other procedures: punctures, catheterizations, drain management, equipment and material handling, urgent care (e.g., CPR), and invasive procedures including central venous catheterization (CVC) and endotracheal intubation (IOT); * Perform other duties relevant to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing; * Specialization in the field of practice is desirable; * Proficiency in basic computer applications and Microsoft Office suite; * Active COREN registration. **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8\.911 dated 07/30/1970\. It is a low-complexity Emergency Care Unit owned by the Municipal Government of São Paulo, designed to handle walk-in demand, featuring 54 observation beds across specialties including General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Pediatrics, managed by **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina, under a solid partnership with the Municipal Government, fully aligned with the guiding principles of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), ensuring comprehensive, high-quality hospital care.
