Job Summary: Professional responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring processes and actions focused on reducing healthcare-associated infections. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in training sessions and safety committees Develop, implement, and monitor processes and actions aimed at maximizing the reduction of incidence and severity of healthcare-associated infections; conduct periodic technical visits to the institution, as required and according to a previously established schedule and demand. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Apply preventive measures for adverse healthcare events according to institutional protocol; * Participate in mandatory continuing education training sessions, including institutional safety protocol training; * Plan and execute activities related to internal and external CIRAS-related events; * Monitor requests and control of materials relevant to CIRAS; * Develop, monitor, and establish action plans (when necessary) concerning Healthcare-Associated Infection Control indicators; * Conduct periodic technical visits to the institution, as required and according to a previously established schedule and demand; * Develop and review policies, protocols, manuals, standards, procedures, and work instructions for Healthcare-Associated Infection Control; * Monitor internal and external audits according to a previously established schedule or as required by CIRAS; * Supervise activities performed by Nursing Technicians and Assistants and/or Apprentices; * Prepare and submit Tasy tool validation; * Contribute to and perform active surveillance (IRAS search) according to a previously established routine; * Support technicians/assistants during clinical audits of IRAS prevention protocols; * Monitor laboratory and culture results; * Participate in mandatory committees and commissions related to CIRAS; * Fulfill strategic planning objectives under one's responsibility; * Prepare cost reports and forward them to the controller's office; * Support the preparation and justification of the department’s annual budget; * Contribute to continuous improvement processes proposed by the Institutional Quality Service; * Participate in onboarding of new employees; * Support Nursing Technicians and Assistants in Focused Search (Post-Discharge Surveillance); * Develop and conduct infection control training sessions according to a previously established schedule; * Contribute to infection prevention in hospital construction projects by establishing routines and validated forms in collaboration with the organization; * Perform activities complying with sanitary surveillance requirements, including documentation and reporting; * Coordinate with SESMT and Building Engineering activities within the institution; * Map microbial indicators, analyze them, and develop action plans; * Deliver hand hygiene training according to regulations; * Carry out departmental responsibilities in alignment with company guidelines and the Internal Regulations of the Nursing Service. **Requirements and Qualifications** #### **Technical Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with active professional registration; * Mandatory specialization in the field; * Knowledge and experience in clinical care; * Knowledge of Hospital Infection Control; * Knowledge of quality tools; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. #### **Behavioral Competencies:** * Teamwork and cooperation; * Proactivity and engagement; * Ownership mindset and results orientation; * Organization and adaptability to change; * Continuous improvement and innovation mindset; * Customer focus and solution-oriented attitude; * Resilience and agility; * Emotional intelligence and flexibility; * Ethics, integrity, and trust building; **Additional Information** * **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:48 PM * **Work Location:** Santos Dumont Hospital (**Address:** Av.
