Collaborates closely with international suppliers, procurement, logistics, international trade, and manufacturing teams to conduct demand analysis, inventory management, shipment monitoring, and supply chain risk mitigation—ensuring a balance among service levels, costs, and employed capital. Job Responsibilities Plan and issue purchase orders to international suppliers according to demand and inventory policies. Continuously monitor the purchase order portfolio, ensuring updates to delivery dates, quantities, and supplier confirmations. Analyze demand, consumption, and market trends to determine supply requirements. Manage inventory levels, coverage, safety stock, and turnover of imported materials. Monitor critical materials daily and implement recovery plans and risk mitigation strategies. Follow up with international suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor international shipments from origin to plant receipt. Collaborate with International Trade and Logistics teams to select the most appropriate transportation mode (ocean, air, road, or multimodal), considering criticality, lead time, and cost. Work with International Trade, Customs Clearance, and freight carriers to ensure smooth international logistics flow. Analyze impacts of logistical delays, port congestion, flight unavailability, and other global supply chain events. Prepare performance reports and metrics related to supply, inventory, coverage, delays, special freight charges, and production plan adherence. Participate in planning meetings (S\&OP, MPS, and Supply Review), presenting risks and action plans. Develop contingency plans for critical materials and coordinate emergency supply actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing inventory, lowering logistics costs, and enhancing supply reliability. Ensure correct ERP system configuration for material planning. Requirements Bachelor’s degree completed. Minimum 5 years of experience in this field/role.
