Senior Node.js Back-End Developer | Remote

. **Responsibilities and assignments** * Develop, evolve, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS; * Design and implement RESTful APIs, integrations, and high-availability services; * Participate in architectural decisions related to microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture; * Develop consumers, producers, and asynchronous processing using SQS, SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ; * Model and implement solutions using relational and non-relational databases; * Ensure delivery quality through unit tests, integration tests, contract tests, and end\-to\-end tests; * Implement resilience strategies such as retry, timeout, circuit breaker, idempotency, and Dead Letter Queues; * Monitor production services via metrics, logs, traces, and alerts; * Investigate performance issues, outages, and unexpected behavior in production environments; * Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, refinements, and architecture definitions. **Requirements and qualifications** * Experience developing distributed, scalable, and highly available solutions; * Experience building backend services, APIs, and integrations; * Hands-on experience in microservices and event-driven architecture environments; * Knowledge of AWS infrastructure; * Experience with asynchronous processing and handling large volumes of requests and data; * Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication; * Experience with relational and non-relational databases; * Knowledge of scalability, resilience, observability, and security practices; * Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS; * Experience with messaging systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ); * Knowledge of testing (unit, integration, contract, and end\-to\-end); * Knowledge of resilience strategies (retry, timeout, circuit breaker, idempotency, and Dead Letter Queues); * Experience with monitoring (metrics, logs, traces, and alerts); * Ability to analyze and resolve performance and availability issues; * Participation in code reviews and technical discussions.
