### **About the position:** #### **What we expect from you?** * Lead the development of high-quality digital experiences, setting front-end technical and architectural standards for the team, translating complex business needs into scalable, performant, and sustainable solutions. #### **Responsibilities:** * Lead the development and evolution of web and/or mobile interfaces using React.JS or React Native; * Define and disseminate front-end architectural standards, best practices, and technical decisions within the squad; * Actively participate in product discussions, influencing solutions with deep technical insight; * Mentor developers at other levels, contributing to the team’s technical growth; * Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other teams to ensure consistency and quality in delivered experiences; * Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, testing, and maintaining the product’s technical health; * Identify and propose improvements to application performance, accessibility, and scalability; * Contribute to the evolution of the team’s engineering process by participating in technical rituals and continuous improvement initiatives. #### **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields; * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a front-end developer; * Solid experience with React Native and/or React.JS; * Proficiency in componentization, state management, API consumption, and front-end architecture; * Proven experience leading technical features or projects; * Mastery of software quality best practices: testing, version control, and code review; * Experience building responsive and performant interfaces with a focus on user experience. **Desirable qualifications:** * Experience with design systems, including creation and maintenance of components; * In-depth knowledge of front-end accessibility and performance; * Experience with product metrics, experimentation (A/B testing), and retention/engagement journeys; * Experience in business-impact-oriented squads within startups; * Familiarity with front-end observability and monitoring tools. ### **Pier Compensation and Benefits 🤗💰** * Health and dental insurance; * Flexible benefit (Caju); * Pier Smartphone Insurance Premium Plan (if covered); * Total Pass; * Starbem: 5 consultations/month (therapy consultations, 1 nutrition consultation, and 2 consultations in other specialties) fully covered by Pier; * Extended maternity/paternity leave; * Childcare allowance. **Nice to meet you — we’re Pier, Brazil’s first digital insurance company!** We’ve bet on technology since our founding in 2018\.
