You will be hired under full-time CLT employment and work remotely, regardless of the pandemic’s end. The company was founded 13 years ago as a startup and now employs approximately 240 people, including 25 directly technical staff—not counting business, product, and related areas. Growth remains strong due to its leadership in the beauty e-commerce segment, which remains resilient amid economic crises. Whether you are just starting your career or already experienced, you will: * Design and evolve a modern backend based on Java SE 11 or 14, Kotlin, and Groovy, comprising over 50 microservices and RESTful APIs, applying best practices and exploring new ways to handle tens of millions of requests per day; * Work with technologies such as Spring Boot, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Redshift, RabbitMQ, Spark, and ElasticSearch, among others; * Learn continuously and tackle new challenges! **Why should you apply for this position:** * Opportunity to work at a technology-driven company unafraid to experiment—and one that wants you to thrive in the area you care about most, such as search optimization, recommendation systems, Big Data, etc.; * Help shape newly forming and evolving squads to meet growing business demands at a company recognized by Oracle as one of the most innovative e-commerce platforms in Latin America—with nearly two hundred JVMs supporting operations; * You will be hired under full-time CLT employment (with salary ranging from R$ 4\.000 to R$ 16\.000 depending on evaluation), health and dental insurance, life insurance, meal allowance, food allowance, and an annual bonus between 2 and 4.5 monthly salaries, depending on your salary and performance; REQUIREMENTS * Team-oriented mindset, commitment, and willingness to dive in and get things done; * Ability to rapidly learn emerging technologies by reading books, technical documentation, watching videos, or attending talks—all in English; * Strong object-oriented programming skills, Java SE 11, and its core APIs (java.lang, Collections, streams, etc); **Some desirable qualifications include:** * Proficiency with Java SE 14 and later versions; * Expertise in RESTful architectures and APIs built on the Spring platform; * In-depth applied knowledge of messaging systems; * Practical experience scaling services to handle hundreds of millions of requests per day; * Experience with various data persistence and caching solutions; * Knowledge of security practices; * Familiarity with cloud platforms, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation in general.
