Job Summary: Care for residents, ensuring their well-being, safety, health, nutrition, personal hygiene, recreation, and leisure, in accordance with individualized care plans. Key Highlights: 1. Support in activities of daily living and socialization Job Responsibilities and Duties: * Provide care to unit residents in compliance with regulations, procedures, and instructions from direct supervisors, safeguarding residents' well-being, safety, health, nutrition, personal hygiene, recreation, and leisure; implement prescribed medical and nursing care plans to maintain residents' psycho-physiological status through companionship and prescribed occupational and therapeutic activities. * Assist and/or provide appropriate care to residents with limitations in basic and instrumental activities of daily living, encouraging independence while respecting their autonomy; * Assist the resident/elderly person in correctly using oral, ocular, nasal, nebulized, and topical medications, as directed by physicians; * Maintain the resident's personal hygiene and clothing, as well as the cleanliness of the resident's designated space—typically their room; * Help, encourage, and perform activities of daily living—including personal and oral hygiene, feeding, mobility—supporting the elderly person's self-sufficiency by doing things with them, not for them. * Follow diets and nutritional recommendations prescribed by dietitians; encourage and assist residents during meals; * Support residents' mobility and assist them in other exercises recommended by healthcare professionals; * Keep residents company, engage in conversations about topics of interest to them, assist with manual crafts, accompany them to medical appointments and internal unit procedures; * Support and encourage residents' social life according to their condition, enabling them to remain active and engaged, feel valued, preserve self-esteem, and foster communication and socialization through interaction, recreation, and leisure; * Ensure resident safety by monitoring physical infrastructure (handrails, non-slip flooring, etc.), implemented procedures, building maintenance needs, orthotic prescriptions, and other assistive devices; Prerequisites and Qualifications: * Completed High School education; * Certified Elderly Caregiver training course (mandatory); * Experience providing care to elderly individuals in Long-Term Care Institutions (ILPIs) and/or private residences, including experience assisting with bathing, feeding, repositioning, and transferring from bed to wheelchair.
