We are looking for a **Senior .NET Developer**, highly hands-on, to work with one of our strategic clients in the insurance sector, within a multinational environment featuring strong governance (security, compliance, and software quality), mission-critical and highly available systems, multiple integrations, and legacy application modernization. In this role, you will directly develop in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, using Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Oracle and SQL Server databases, as well as intensively leverage AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot and Azure OpenAI) to boost team productivity. **Responsibilities and duties** * Analyze, design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions aligned with architectural best practices. * Directly develop .NET applications (C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+) and configure and fine-tune CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions. * Actively participate in modernizing legacy systems by proposing and implementing structural improvements (refactoring, migration, monolith decomposition). * Configure and maintain integrations via APIM and Sensedia, ensuring API governance, security, and standardization. * Ensure application stability, performance, and security in production, handling incidents and driving continuous improvement. * Serve as a technical reference within the team, mentoring junior developers and supporting the dissemination of best practices—including AI usage in development. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, architecture, security, infrastructure, and data), ensuring alignment between technical and business requirements. * Guarantee compliance with security, compliance, and corporate standards, including use of tools such as SonarQube and Veracode. **Requirements and qualifications** * Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development, with strong hands-on coding and automation expertise. * Experience in medium- and high-complexity projects within large-scale corporate environments. * Experience with mission-critical, highly available systems involving complex integrations across multiple systems. * Practical experience maintaining, evolving, and fixing production applications—including legacy systems and technology modernization initiatives. * Proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+. * Development of REST APIs (creation, consumption, versioning, and security). * Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and software development and architecture best practices. * SQL Server and Oracle databases, with focus on optimized queries and PL/SQL. * Experience with ORMs, especially Entity Framework. * Advanced Git version control (branching strategy, pull requests, code review). * Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps (build and release pipelines) and/or GitHub Actions. * Experience with Azure: App Services, Functions, and Azure API Management (APIM). * Experience automating application deployments—and preferably database deployments (versioned scripts, migrations, pipelines). * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), actively participating in ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective, daily stand-ups). * Experience in technical leadership or mentoring teams, supporting junior developers. * Usage of GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools for code generation, review, refactoring, and documentation support—with ability to craft effective prompts. **Desirable:** --------------- * Postgraduate degree or specialization in architecture, cloud, or software engineering. * Experience in the insurance sector. * Experience with static code analysis and code security tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, or similar. * Experience consuming or integrating AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) or strong interest in working in an AI-intensive environment. * Knowledge of Dapper. * Experience with Azure Service Bus. * Experience with Sensedia for API management. * Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes—especially for containerized applications. * Experience with observability (logs, metrics, dashboards) and tools such as Application Insights. **Additional information** * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher; * SESI and SESC health and wellness benefits, offering access to health, wellness, and leisure services; * Partnerships with educational institutions, providing exclusive discounts on courses and educational programs; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; * Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding market company.
