Join us in writing our history and building our future.** Apply now to our open positions! **Responsibilities and duties** * Migration experience: Lead the technical design and execution of data pipeline and workload migration to Databricks, ensuring performance, security, and governance. * Engineering and architecture: Build, refactor, and optimize batch and streaming data ingestion and transformation processes (e.g., Kafka), using PySpark in AWS Cloud and Databricks environments. * Data Lake/Lakehouse design: Design and evolve data architecture (Lakehouse concept), implement the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers), and fully leverage Delta Tables. * Technical mentorship and leadership: Serve as a technical reference within multidisciplinary squads, applying and disseminating best practices in development, testing, and CI/CD for distributed processing. * Business vision: Discuss needs and bottlenecks with stakeholders and translate business requirements into efficient data architectures, contributing to new products and visions that generate actionable *insights*. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related fields; * Solid experience in the AWS Cloud ecosystem (S3, IAM, Athena, Glue, EMR, etc.) and strategic data architecture design; * Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks (Workspace, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Delta Lake) and deep knowledge of the Spark engine (query optimization, memory management, partitioning); * Advanced Python programming for data and expertise in distributed processing (PySpark, SparkSQL); * Practical experience building modern data pipelines and orchestration tools (Apache Airflow); * Knowledge of data streaming (Apache Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark Structured Streaming); * Experience in technical leadership, excellent time management, and strong communication skills (ability to translate data complexity for non-technical areas); * Collaborative profile, problem-solving oriented, process innovation–minded, and experienced in Agile frameworks. **Desirable:** * Business Intelligence knowledge; * Cloud certification **Additional information** **At our company, you will find a collaborative environment and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your growth, health, and quality of life.
