**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Manage ongoing construction projects, monitoring cost, schedule, quality, safety, and productivity indicators;
* Lead and manage construction site teams and supervisors, providing feedback, activity direction, personnel development, and conflict resolution;
* Control departmental budget, reviewing monthly results and proposing actions to reduce costs and improve efficiency;
* Develop, monitor, and analyze departmental KPIs to support decision-making and action plans;
* Propose technical improvements, process reengineering, and solutions to optimize construction operations;
* Manage and review service provider and third-party contracts, particularly strategic contracts (Curve A);
* Interface with clients in strategic or highly complex situations, defining action plans to correct deviations;
* Support and interface with public agencies, utility providers, and regulatory entities for project approvals and technical requirements;
* Monitor and guide supplier and contractor performance, proposing improvements to procurement and execution processes;
* Interface with internal departments—including Projects, Planning, Procurement, Cost Management, Finance, and Legal—for alignment and strategic decisions;
* Develop, review, and ensure implementation of Construction Department policies and procedures;
* Present monthly construction results to senior management, including costs, schedules, safety, quality, and planning;
* Manage highly complex conflicts involving employees, clients, communities, labor unions, and public agencies.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, or Architecture;
* MBA or postgraduate degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related fields;
* Proven experience in construction management, preferably with a minimum of 8 years in similar roles;
* Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and people management;
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Project, integrated systems, Microsoft Office suite, and negotiation techniques;
* Familiarity with technical standards and legislation applicable to the construction industry;
* Advanced English / Conversational **(mandatory).**
