To check your application status, log in using your candidate credentials on our careers page, as it will reflect any updates.** **Job Profile / Responsibilities:** * Support delivery of a lean, responsive, and resilient flow of materials and services to the facility—from source to point of receipt and other required locations. * Identify opportunities to reduce costs and inventory levels while improving quality, and assume responsibility for consistency of business proposals and risk assessment. * Operate and monitor procurement functions across the supply network to meet defined response-time, cost, quality, and efficiency targets, enabling optimal and effective facility operations. * Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to resolve facility-specific supplier issues. **Skills:** * **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Knowledge of data-based decision-making processes and associated tools and techniques; ability to collect and analyze data to make organizational decisions aligned with business strategic goals and objectives. * **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that support effective analysis; ability to determine root causes of organizational problems and develop alternative solutions to resolve them. * **Effective Communication:** Understanding of concepts, tools, and techniques for effective communication; ability to accurately convey, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors. * **Supplier Management – MFG:** Knowledge of processes and methods for effectively managing commercial relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience, and skills in real-world practice. * **Supply Chain Management:** Knowledge of functions, principles, and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices, and tools to control the entire process. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree. * Pre-advanced English proficiency. * Prior experience in supplier management – minimum of 2 years. **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * Prior procurement experience. * Advanced English proficiency. * Experience developing applications using Office 365 (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, etc.) *Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days per week.* **Interested in this challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
