We are looking for a professional to work as a Data Engineer, embedded within an automotive multinational company located in Cajamar/SP. Responsibilities: * **Data Architecture and Pipelines:** Design, build, and evolve ingestion, transformation, and delivery data pipelines on Snowflake, ensuring end-to-end data quality, scalability, and traceability. * **Analytical Modeling:** Develop analytical models across layers (raw, staging, mart), emphasizing clarity, reusability, and performance, following dimensional modeling best practices. * **Automation and Processing:** Use Python and SQL for ETL/ELT process automation, data validation, and building scalable, low-maintenance routines. * **Data Governance and Quality:** Implement and maintain data governance, security, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with internal and external group requirements. * **Data Visualization Integration:** Collaborate with the Data Visualization team to ensure published data is reliable, well-structured, and easy to consume. * **Regional and Global Projects:** Contribute to LATAM-level data initiatives, supporting standardization and evolution of the analytical architecture aligned with the company’s global strategy. * **Technical Documentation:** Maintain up-to-date documentation of data flows, data dictionaries, architectural decisions, and team operational processes. Requirements: * **Strong SQL proficiency:** Data modeling, query optimization, CTEs, window functions. Write SQL that others want to read. * **Python for data:** Process automation, dataset manipulation, validation scripts, and ETL. * **Snowflake experience:** Or equivalent cloud data warehouse platforms (Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse). * **Quality mindset:** Obsession with reliable data. You do not deliver anything without validation. You document what you build. * **Clear communication:** Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and understand business needs. * **Autonomy and proactivity:** You identify problems before they are reported and propose solutions before being asked. * **Languages:** Spanish (desirable), Advanced English Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
