Here, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your value and challenge yourself, helping **the largest players in the domestic market** keep their businesses aligned with consumer pace! **If this resonates with you, we have the right challenge for you!** **Responsibilities and duties** * Serve as the technical reference across multiple Data teams, promoting consistency and technical excellence aligned with Neogrid’s product and technology vision, leading the evolution of our large-scale data pipelines for ingestion, capture, quality, and availability; * Lead end-to-end data architecture—including decisions on lakehouse, data warehouse, streaming, batch and real-time processing—with attention to cost, performance, scalability, and resilience; * Ensure operational health of critical pipelines, with clear SLAs, end-to-end observability (logs, metrics, data quality, lineage), and a mature troubleshooting culture; * Evolve the Data Platform as an internal product—expanding self-service for consuming teams, reducing ingestion friction, and standardizing analytical engineering practices; * Mentor data engineers and developers at all levels, fostering technical growth and dissemination of best practices; * Diagnose and address structural bottlenecks—infrastructure cost, ingestion latency, data quality, technical debt, and organizational silos—with medium- and long-term vision; * Act as the technical focal point for the Data area across Product, Software Engineering, Infra/SRE, Security, and Commercial teams. **Requirements and qualifications** * Proven experience leading high-complexity projects building or evolving a **Data Platform**; * Strong technical background in **data engineering**, with hands-on experience in large-scale ingestion and processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) (**Databricks**, Spark, Kafka, Mage/Airflow), and ability to deeply discuss architectural decisions; * Mastery of modern analytical architecture paradigms: **lakehouse**, **data warehouse**, streaming, batch, open formats (Parquet, Iceberg, Delta), and analytical modeling standards; * Ability to guide technical decisions amid ambiguity and across multiple stakeholders; * Experience with observability and designing metrics, alerts, and dashboards for complex systems; * Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills, with focus on alignment and technical influence; * Critical understanding of cloud-based analytical infrastructure costs, processing optimization, and trade\-offs between managed and in\-house solutions. **Nice to have:** * Experience in B2B SaaS companies, especially in data-intensive domains (supply chain, retail, fintech, ad\-tech, telco). * Experience with customer-facing data products (not just internal analytics). * Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into an existing data platform—even if not directly owning MLOps. * Prior involvement in analytical stack modernization programs (e.g., legacy-to-lakehouse migrations). * Experience in Data Governance and Data Quality. * Relevant education or certifications in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and governance frameworks (DAMA\-DMBOK, DCAM). **Additional information** At Neogrid, People Matter.
