Job Summary: The Controller will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting department, ensuring the company's economic health and the sustainability of its results in the toy industry. Direct support to the executive board in decision-making and growth **Our Client:** A Brazilian company operating in the toy sector, specializing in the development, importation, and distribution of products focused on the B2B market. It serves retailers nationwide, offering a diverse portfolio including toys, costumes, and accessories, with an emphasis on inventory turnover, competitiveness, and seasonal opportunities. The Controller will be responsible for leading the company's finance and accounting department, ensuring economic health, cash flow predictability, and result sustainability. They will serve as the reference point for the business’s financial structure, ensuring that processes, decisions, and controls align with the company’s strategic guidelines and governance framework. Beyond technical expertise, they will be responsible for designing and implementing financial processes and internal controls, elevating operational organization, predictability, and security. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; * Proven experience in financial and accounting management; * Proficiency in cash flow management, income statements (DRE), corporate budgeting, and cost management; * Experience in financial planning, performance analysis, and KPIs; * Experience managing finance, administration, and/or accounting teams; * Solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations; * Experience in implementing or restructuring financial processes; * Advanced Excel skills and analytical tools (Power BI is a plus); * Experience with ERP and financial systems; * Analytical and strategic mindset; * Holistic business perspective; * Leadership and influence capabilities; * Data-driven decision-making; * Proactivity and ownership mindset; * Ability to work closely with the executive board; * Organized and results-oriented. **Responsibilities:** * Lead corporate financial planning and control; * Ensure proper cash flow and working capital management; * Supervise accounting, tax, and financial operations; * Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts; * Prepare managerial reports and strategic analyses; * Design and implement financial processes and internal controls; * Define financial department workflows, routines, and standards; * Organize and standardize accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury routines; * Ensure financial operation security by mitigating risks and deviations; * Act as guardian of financial policies and business governance; * Translate financial data into strategic guidance for the executive board; * Manage and develop the finance and administrative team; * Promote integration among finance, administration, and operational departments; * Identify process improvement opportunities, cost reduction initiatives, and efficiency gains; * Provide direct support to the executive board in decision-making and business growth.
