Join us!** **Responsibilities and Duties** Budget and Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate budget proposals from the sales team based on practical knowledge and past experiences, as well as develop process CBDs. Identify opportunities for process improvements; Plan and present technical and economic feasibility studies to internal and external clients, ensuring compliance with time, cost, and quality criteria. Direct processes: Welding, Painting, Assembly, Stamping (Cold and Hot), Laser Cutting, and Profiling. Indirect processes: Logistics, product engineering, and simulation Project Management: Develop detailed schedules for process and product development considering project key dates; Control expenses and prepare necessary documentation for supplier appointments. Generate purchase requisitions (PR) for Tooling and Capex, as well as request payment approvals according to the established schedule; Conduct initial meetings (kick\-off) with suppliers to align expectations and plan regular visits to monitor activity progress; Map and ensure compliance with specific requirements from internal and external clients; Ensure adherence to development timelines and budget assumptions; Develop risk analyses for developments and potential project issues, proposing appropriate solutions; Use corporate systems such as SAP, Team Center, and the Microsoft Office platform for efficient project management and operational standardization, planning and disseminating product changes in Team Center, considering impacts on processes and costs. Development and Monitoring: Develop scopes and update service, product, and welding process specifications, descriptive scope of modifications, new processes, cycle time improvement studies, ergonomics and safety improvements; Monitor supplier and technology development, as well as carry out development activities and approval of samples/prototypes. Approve processes, layouts, safety, and ergonomics in collaboration with clients, plants, and suppliers, performing dimensional analyses to propose improvements in developments. Manage sample production, controlling inventory, production reporting, and required documentation, as well as coordinate the shipment and receipt of products, tools, devices, equipment, cells, and samples to plants, ensuring compliance with Gestamp and its clients' specific requirements. Develop Buy off plans and subsequent try out plans together with the client, plant, and suppliers, preparing all necessary documentation for billing according to organizational procedures and stakeholder requirements. Perform follow up, ensuring the correct application of BIW part manufacturing processes together with plant teams; Lead multidisciplinary team meetings for root cause analysis and problem-solving (MASP); Analyze and implement improvements in tools, equipment, and/or processes, solving problems identified during development phases to validate new concepts that ensure innovation within the department; Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure project quality and safety; Prepare and document lessons learned at each project stage. Actively participate in multifunctional teams to develop PFMEAs, feasibility analysis, and project risks. Create and update development KPIs focused on time, cost, and quality Interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings Develop materials and applications for optimization. Develop and apply engineering requirements and technical specifications Interpret and apply quality and control procedures (e.g., ISO 9001\) Inspect and measure products dimensionally using measuring instruments (e.g., caliper, micrometer, and vernier) and ensure they comply with drawings and GD\&T. Analyze quality data and reports. Implement performance tests and validation.
