Truck Driver

Description

**Main responsibilities:** * Transport cargo, performing pickups and deliveries according to the company's logistics schedule and defined routing; * Operate a truck safely, complying with traffic regulations, internal procedures, and operational requirements; * Verify cargo, invoices, waybills, and other transportation documents to ensure correct handling and delivery of materials; * Supervise loading and unloading, checking cargo packaging, securing, and integrity; * Perform daily vehicle checklist, identifying and reporting needs for preventive and corrective maintenance; * Maintain the truck’s preservation, cleanliness, and proper operation; * Meet delivery deadlines and support tracking of working hours, routes, and operational records; * Maintain communication with the operations/logistics team regarding incidents, delays, and delivery status; * Follow safety regulations, use of PPE, and company and client procedures. **Requirements:** * Driver's license category **D or E**; * Proven experience as a truck driver in logistics/cargo transportation; * Knowledge of routes, transportation documentation, and cargo verification; * Availability for flexible hours and travel when required. **Advantages:** * MOPP certification; * Experience with tracking systems, logistics apps, and route planning; * Experience in distribution operations, logistics centers, and less-than-truckload (LTL) deliveries.
