Our role is strategic, focused on: * Accelerating Time-to-Market: Building tools, components, and abstractions that allow product teams to focus exclusively on business logic; * Building the "Golden Path": Establishing technical standards and governance processes that guarantee ecosystem safety and health without bureaucracy; * Technological Evolution: Researching, testing, and integrating new technologies to ensure our tech stack remains modern and competitive; * Technical Data Culture: Monitoring and optimizing KPIs related to performance, scalability, and reliability; * Enablement and Dissemination: Acting as mentors and references, promoting knowledge sharing and raising the technical bar across the entire company. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Serve as the Engineering Coordinator responsible for core mobile, core frontend, and core backend squads * Ensure tasks are appropriately distributed across the team and effectively monitor progress, proactively addressing risks or blockers * Build collaborative relationships with Product, Design, and Stakeholder teams to achieve business objectives * Ensure delivery planning aligns with team capacity * Lead critical deliveries required to meet business objectives * Implement improvements in team workflows and share them with other tribes * Ensure continuous improvement processes are executed via post-mortems * Guarantee full team understanding of business objectives * Ensure technical solutions are designed with appropriate planning, considering risks and dependencies (both internal and external to the team), including cost perspective * Negotiate technical debt and architectural improvement opportunities, providing visibility and ensuring prioritization and resolution * Ensure deliveries comply with reliability principles * Ensure technical solutions align with the business domain they serve * Recruit, develop, and grow your direct team, proactively engaging in hiring and retention planning * Share your domain expertise with other tribes * Proactively identify and eliminate manual, repetitive tasks performed by teams, addressing correction and/or automation * Generate and effectively track team and engineering metrics, making data-driven decisions * Ensure technical decisions are documented following architecture processes and aligned with Engineering guidelines * Actively contribute to the evolution of the Engineering strategy in technical forums * Monitor the health of systems under your responsibility, proactively preventing incidents * Lead and/or facilitate effective execution of all agreed-upon team ceremonies **Skills and Prerequisites:** * Proven experience (3+ years) leading technology teams, with emphasis on career development, performance management, and building highly senior teams. * Prior experience leading platform teams (core, foundation, architecture), focused on building products for technology teams; * Experience defining and applying architectural and technical governance standards; * Advanced negotiation skills to balance long-term technical roadmaps with immediate product tribe needs. **What Would Strengthen Your Application:** * Knowledge of DevOps practices, advanced CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. * Experience leading large-scale technological migrations (e.g., framework replacements, legacy architecture to microservices) without business disruption. * Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in technical communities (talks, articles). * Experience managing and optimizing infrastructure and third-party service costs. **The Profile We’re Looking For:** * Enjoy tackling challenges; * Ability to work autonomously and proactively; * Ability to challenge the team to seek simplicity in complex problems; * Passion for disseminating knowledge and “selling” best practices to other tribes; * Understanding that the perfect technical solution should not hinder value delivery to the business. **Our Values:** Absolute Commitment Focus on Major Results Giant Ambition Collaboration with Positive Friction Extreme Sense of Urgency By joining Frete, you’ll enjoy: ️ **Meal or Food Allowance** – paid via Flash flexible card **Transportation Allowance or Mobility Assistance** **Bradesco Health Insurance** **Dental Care Plan** ️ **Life Insurance** **Pharmacy Benefit Program** **2% of your annual salary for Well-being** **Childcare Assistance** – eligibility subject to verification **Birthday Day Off** ️ **TotalPass** – for your health and well-being **PipoSaúde** **Educational Partnerships** – discounts for MBAs, postgraduate programs, language courses (Open English), and technology courses (FIAP) **Home Office Setup Assistance + Monthly Remote Work Allowance** – for fully remote positions And even more benefits you’ll discover during the process!
