Our engineers work with modern technologies, agility, and software development practices to create innovative solutions, ensure data integrity, and protect against fraud. Additionally, they collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance user experience and drive innovation in payment methods. **Responsibilities and Duties** *As a* **Senior Software Engineering Analyst**, *you will:* * Work on projects and maintenance within the Compensation team; * Serve as a Java Backend Developer; * Build new microservices and analyze and improve the performance of existing microservices; * Monitor metrics and observability of microservices in production environments; * Develop high-complexity applications with quality, adhering to Elo’s standard architecture; * Work within multidisciplinary teams (project squads), applying agile methodologies and interacting with partners, assuming different roles across projects; * Ensure documentation of systems and projects according to the company’s adopted methodology; * Develop efficient, high-performing, flexible technical solutions aligned with business needs; * Support project implementation and post-implementation activities; * Aim for high software quality standards; * Execute unit, component, mutation, functional, performance, and automated tests; * Handle production environment incidents; * Participate in the technical refinement of value deliveries, ensuring necessary breakdowns for the development cycle. **Requirements and Qualifications** *For this challenge, we need you to:* * Be passionate about IT, quality, and continuous learning; * Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Have experience as a developer, especially on the JAVA platform (11 and later) and Spring (Boot, Batch, Data, Config, etc.); * Master concepts and practices for developing applications using Microservice Architectures, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and API Gateways; * Have experience with Object-Oriented Programming and RESTful API design (HTTP); * Possess knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation tools; * Have experience developing applications using messaging brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar); * Have experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); * Have experience solving and integrating complex systems; * Proficiency in English for technical reading.
