**The Role:**
* Work with senior analysts and engineers to deliver a range of network and cybersecurity services.
**Role Responsibilities:**
**Stakeholder Engagement**
* Build positive working relationships across Brennan and with customers.
* Assist in customer workshops, security reviews, and documentation under guidance from senior staff.
* Support clear communication of incidents and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
**Secure Operations Engineering \& Delivery**
* Monitor and triage alerts across Endpoint (EDR/XDR), Email Security, Identity, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
* Assist in investigations and incident response activities following defined playbooks.
* Document incident details, operational procedures, and lessons learned.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of basic security controls.
* Escalate issues and incidents to senior analysts when required.
* Learn and apply best practices aligned with industry frameworks (NIST, ISO, Essential 8\).
**Key Competencies and Qualifications Required:**
* Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast\-paced security environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem\-solving.
* Ability to clearly document findings and processes.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
* A proactive, can\-do attitude that aligns with Brennan’s values.
* Recently studied IT/cybersecurity, completed a certification or gained practical experience in a technical support role.
Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded but not essential (training will be provided):
* Endpoint Security (SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, Sophos, Trend Vision One).
* Email Security platforms (Mimecast, Proofpoint, Exchange Online Protection).
* Identity \& Access Management (Entra ID, conditional access, MFA).
* SIEM \& SOAR tools (Microsoft Sentinel, USM Anywhere, or equivalent).
* Familiarity with incident response frameworks (NIST IR, MITRE ATT\&CK).
