Job Summary: Operate peptide spray drying processes, including operating the spray dryer and its peripherals—from product preparation to packaging—along with supporting and maintenance activities. Key Highlights: 1. Complete operation of spray dryer and peripherals for peptide drying. 2. Tank cleaning, sanitization, and preparation. 3. Equipment monitoring and control of air treatment. A spray dryer is equipment used for peptide drying via atomization, wherein the liquid product is atomized under high pressure into a drying chamber with treated air at high temperatures and high flow rates, producing powder ready for packaging. Work in this area begins with preparation of the material to be dried, continues through operation of the spray dryer and its peripherals, and ends with product packaging. It also includes support activities for departments adjacent to the critical COI. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Clean and sanitize storage and neutralization tanks after discharge; * Prepare storage and neutralization tanks (peroxide adjustment, pH measurement, concentration, viscosity, pH adjustment); * Monitor operation of peripheral equipment and control drying air treatment; * Perform analyses, readings, and record entries in process worksheets; * Maintain equipment, instruments, and work tools; monitor required maintenance, testing, and cleaning activities; * Maintain workplace organization and 5S, as well as collaborate on workplace cleanliness and hygiene; * Report any quality, safety, or process deviations; * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety procedures applicable to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Operation of machinery, equipment, valves, and pumps in food, chemical, or related industries. * Basic computer skills; * Proactivity; * Care and maintenance of company equipment and assets; * Compliance with code of conduct and ethics; * Adherence to occupational safety regulations
