The SOC Analyst will be responsible for continuous information security monitoring within Claranet's infrastructure. They will detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, collaborating with IT and Cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and protect the company’s digital assets. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor networks and systems in real time to detect suspicious or anomalous activities that may indicate a security breach. * Analyze security alerts, assess incident severity, and implement necessary corrective actions. * Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to implement strategies aimed at improving the company’s security posture. * Participate in incident response, conducting investigations to determine the origin and impact of security incidents. * Develop and maintain security reports documenting incidents, actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements. * Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, applying this knowledge to protect Claranet’s assets. * Conduct security awareness training for employees, reinforcing the importance of cybersecurity in the workplace. * Collaborate in defining and implementing security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. * Ensure all security monitoring activities comply with Claranet’s internal policies and applicable regulations. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Certifications: Not mandatory but desirable in areas such as Cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH). Courses: Experience in security monitoring, incident analysis, and networking courses. Language proficiency: Basic English. Specific skills: Support for security monitoring, alert analysis, incident documentation.
