Description
An Export Analyst is the professional responsible for managing and overseeing the entire process of selling products overseas, ensuring that operations are conducted correctly, efficiently, and in compliance with international regulations. In practice, this role serves as a liaison between the company, foreign clients, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities.
**Key responsibilities:**
* Prepare and review export documentation (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, etc.)
* Track international orders
* Monitor shipping and delivery deadlines
* Verify customs legislation and requirements for each country
* Quote international freight rates and negotiate with freight agents
* Provide support to external customers
* Monitor logistics costs and processes
