You’ll be part of the Services team, focused on one of our largest contracts—the MSA Rumo contract, our primary customer. You’ll perform your duties at our customer’s sites—operations located in Araraquara/SP or Curitiba/PR—and work directly with Wabtec’s materials team, as well as in close partnership with our technical teams based at those same locations.* **How Will You Make a Difference?** *Our difference lies in promptly meeting our customers’ needs. Prior experience—or familiarity—with logistics operations or material supply activities supporting customers is highly desirable.* *Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required; familiarity with any market-available MRP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP, ERP) is preferred, enabling understanding of warehouse operations and material supply workflows.* *Valid driver’s license Category B and minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience;* **What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?** *Perform daily equipment and tool inspection checklists;* *Participate in health, safety, and environmental preservation activities to safeguard personnel integrity, reporting and taking corrective actions to eliminate any workplace hazards;* *Supervise vehicle positioning for material unloading and loading—including adherence to safety procedures and checklists;* *Inspect cargo and report any abnormalities or damages identified;* *Physically load and unload vehicles using a forklift;* *Verify quantities against fiscal documents received from internal Wabtec transfers or suppliers;* *Request registration of corresponding fiscal documents in the Trello system;* *Properly allocate components to their designated locations;* *Configure standard locators upon receipt of new components;* *Control items by standard location and correct deviations;* *Organize materials on pallet racks and perform corrections whenever necessary;* *Conduct cyclic inventory by generating daily count lists, performing counts, and entering collected data;* *Report physical discrepancies and non-conformities immediately upon identification using the standard 4-block form;* *Report quantity discrepancies immediately upon identification via inventory reports;* *Perform appropriate packaging of materials, create packages according to required packaging specifications, and pack items following particular requirements to ensure safety and quality during transport handling;* *Receive and store chemical materials, verify expiration dates, label with expiry date/FIFO;* *Control perishable items through expiration dates;* *Segregate all materials expiring in the current month and direct them toward scrap disposal procedures;* *Fulfill material reservations based on demands from e-Service and Oracle systems;* *Register serial numbers of required components in the e-Service system;* *Report material shortages (****NIS*** *– NOT IN STOCK /* ***LHFM****) immediately upon identification for follow-up, per standard procedure;* *Prepare materials for internal dispatch: label components, verify quantities and volumes, attach reservation documents, and ensure correct shipment of components for MSA Rumo operations—and maintain shipping manifest control;* *Prepare materials for external dispatch: label components, verify quantities and volumes, affix NF (fiscal note) numbers, ensure correct shipment of components to customers, print NFs, and control NF manifests at the time of carrier pickup;* *Process material returns upon formal request and physical receipt of the component at the warehouse—after proper inspection confirming absence of damage;* *Separate items, control serial numbers, photograph circuit boards, and measure/cube materials for export shipments (NYAB and EOT portions)—separate and package items per export regulations, and forward measurements and cube data to Logistics Team (II and III);* *Daily collect and control damaged items, verifying identification per information required on the standard label;* *Always flag, when requested, damaged components requiring repair—at our headquarters in Contagem or at an approved supplier;* *Package damaged components appropriately and secure them correctly to ensure safety and quality during transport handling;* *Ensure control and identification for dispatch of specific equipment requiring RC (Field Reports) tracking—per demand signaled by the Materials team or any member of a technical team;* **Our Commitment to Embracing Diversity:** Wabtec is a global company that invests not only in our products but also in our people—embracing diversity and inclusion.
