Act as a facilitator among engineering, operations, and business São Paulo, SP Specialist About the Role: We are looking for a pragmatic, results-oriented QA Lead to drive quality strategy across a robust payment ecosystem. Operating in a highly complex and critical environment, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure, scalable, and integrated deliveries—leading multiple squads and promoting quality excellence across the entire development lifecycle. Responsibilities: ✔ Define and steer QA strategy (manual testing, automation, non-functional testing, and release quality criteria) ✔ Prioritize risks and align test strategies with stakeholders ✔ Integrate QA into the delivery pipeline (CI/CD), promoting shift-left practices ✔ Establish quality gates and monitor performance metrics ✔ Define and enforce Definition of Done criteria ✔ Manage test environments and data, as well as complex integrations ✔ Coordinate, develop, and mentor the QA team (including technical assessment and growth) ✔ Lead cross-initiatives involving multiple systems and squads ✔ Manage production defects (escaped defects), driving continuous improvement in test coverage ✔ Ensure proper use of frameworks and QA best practices ✔ Guarantee efficient coverage of both manual and automated tests ✔ Act as a facilitator between engineering, operations, and business ✔ Manage internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment and performance Requirements: ✔ Availability for on-site work in São Paulo (Av. Paulista), 5 days per week ✔ Residency in São Paulo ✔ Experience leading QA teams in complex environments with multiple squads ✔ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure ✔ Excellent communication skills and ability to provide visibility across all organizational levels ✔ Experience managing conflicts and leading diverse teams Preferred Qualifications: ➕ Experience in financial services, payment systems, or highly regulated environments ➕ Knowledge of test automation using Java and/or JavaScript ➕ Fluent English Work Model: On-site – São Paulo (Av.
