Join our mission! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform food pre-preparation and preparation tasks; * Clean kitchen and pantry utensils and equipment; * Assist in transporting, weighing, and storing food items, materials, utensils, and prepared or pre-prepared meals; * Collect, weigh, and package food trimmings, waste, leftovers, and/or returned food items according to established procedures; * Perform pre-preparation, preparation, cooking, and packaging of meals in accordance with predetermined menus; * Clean utensils, equipment, and facilities of the Unit, except those designated as the responsibility of the hygiene department; * Store cleaned kitchen and pantry utensils for subsequent reuse; * Support pantry and kitchen operations in carrying out their activities; * Prepare snacks, coffee breaks, and simple meals as scheduled. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience as a kitchen assistant in food service units is required; * Experience in hospital kitchens is considered an advantage; * Availability to work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts on a 36-hour rotation) or from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; **Additional Information** * Health and dental insurance; * Transportation allowance; * On-site cafeteria; * Employee benefits club; * Employee health club Founded on February 21, 1937 by Professor José Silveira, the Fundação José Silveira (FJS) has expanded its work through sustainable growth, grounded in strategic planning and focused on achieving optimal results.
