Job Summary: This role requires handling, inspection, and palletizing of goods, as well as maintaining terminal organization and correctly using PPE. Key Highlights: 1. WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT? * Perform loading, unloading, and handling of goods; * Inspect loads to be delivered; * Verify absence of damage or tampering in cargo units; * Palletize goods as required by load specifications; * Carry out daily cleaning and organizational routines at the terminal; * Properly wear uniforms and required personal protective equipment (PPE); * Perform other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor. WHAT COULD BE A DIFFERENTIAL? * Experience in transportation; * Experience in unloading goods; * Knowledge of cargo labeling/symbols; * Knowledge of cargo stowage.
