Join\-us to become part of a team that celebrates differences!*** We are seeking an **Accounting Specialist** to join the **Accounting and Tax Coordination** team. This person will be responsible for excellence in accounting activities related to Financial Statements, as well as fiscal and tax matters, ensuring that all accounting reports and records comply with accounting principles and standards, and applicable federal, state, and municipal legislation, in accordance with the company’s established standards and procedures, guaranteeing numerical accuracy and supporting the needs of Shareholders, Executive Management, Management, and Coordination. **Position: Accounting Specialist** **Area of Responsibility: Accounting and Tax Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead closing routines (monthly/quarterly/annual), reconciliations, analyses, support, and reporting to shareholders. * Participate in reporting and alignment meetings with foreign shareholders. * Prepare, review, publish, and ensure compliance of the Company’s Financial Statements. * Ensure adherence to accounting policies (CPC/IFRS) and quality and accuracy of journal entries/provisions. * Calculate and record IRPJ and CSLL, and maintain controls and reconciliations. * Prepare and submit ECD and ECF, ensuring consistency and supporting documentary evidence. * Support external audits and shareholder requests, providing audit trails and evidence. * Maintain internal controls: execution, evidence, testing, and remediation of gaps. * Prepare managerial reports with corresponding analyses of accounting variances. * Prepare, calculate, and report to shareholders the fair value of biological assets in accordance with CPC29/IAS41; * Prepare accounting/tax inputs for long-term projections, interfacing with the Controller’s Office. * Analyze lease contracts and recognize assets and liabilities in accordance with CPC06/IFRS16; * Propose process and system (SAP) improvements and disseminate technical knowledge within the area. * Lead and validate physical and accounting inventories of stocks and fixed assets; * Monitor accounting and tax regulatory changes, ensuring timely implementation in systems and processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; * Experience in corporate accounting (CPC/IFRS) and accounting closing; * Preferred experience with IRPJ/CSLL and related compliance routines; * Experience in environments involving external audits, corporate reporting, and internal controls; experience in Operational Development; * Advanced SAP and Excel skills; * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** * Postgraduate degree/MBA (Finance/Controller/Accounting). * Knowledge of CPC 32/IAS 12 (current and deferred taxes). * Power Query/Power BI and/or S/4HANA.
