Job Description As a **Senior Mine Operations Engineer \- Tailings Stacking**, you will be responsible for developing innovation and process improvement projects, as well as ensuring compliance with Anglo American standards and legal requirements, through numerical simulations in specialized software, aiming to optimize processes, structures, and safety. **Key responsibilities include:** * Adhere to policies and procedures related to Operational Health and Safety, Environment, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity. * Manage KPIs, control productivity, optimize equipment, reduce operational losses, and increase adherence to plans. * Develop projects to improve area safety and equipment productivity in tailings stacking operations. * Understand equipment sizing parameters, perform demand calculations, and establish parameters for different scenarios, selecting optimal alternatives. * Interface between client and supplier areas and coordinate them across production areas. * Provide technical support during budget cycles and ensure budget execution within schedule. * Prepare technical and economic studies for implementing improvements in the Tailings Stacking process, including new practices and productive processes. * Develop, implement, and monitor engineering projects from both technical and economic perspectives. Define technical and operational standards for the process. * Prepare specifications and supervise the execution of contracted services according to company\-established standards. * Identify new technologies to optimize Tailings Stacking processes, aligned with company needs. Qualifications **Ideal candidate profile for this position:** * Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. * Active CREA registration. * Experience in Tailings Stacking in mining. * Experience in Earthworks, Mine Operations, Infrastructure, etc. * Proficiency in management tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.). * Driver's license category B. * Intermediate English proficiency preferred.
