Job Description Supervise the mine services area, managing human and material resources in alignment with the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring quality and safety in mine infrastructure and screening activities. **Key responsibilities include:** Supervise mine infrastructure activities, including maintenance and opening of access roads, parking areas, drainage structures (basins, drains, channels, water chutes), road wetting, and road signage. Supervise mobile and fixed screening operations, ensuring quality and operational optimization. Supervise the crushing plant warehouse, managing trucks, surge piles, and feeding the hopper. Implement the operational model (planning, scheduling, provisioning, and execution of tasks), ensuring adherence to the construction/maintenance schedule for access roads. Manage the team to foster operator development. Conduct safety inspections to identify, report, and correct deviations. Monitor critical controls within the mine services department. Ensure that Safe Work Analysis (SWA) is conducted for both routine and non-routine tasks, considering task details, potential undesired events, and required controls. Communicate and discuss hazardous conditions, undesired events, and control measures during safety dialogues, based on existing risk analyses. Issue service orders and requisition materials, spare parts, and supplies; justify attendance incidents using computerized systems—aiming to prevent and repair equipment defects, support raw material and supply production, ensure operational continuity, and manage subordinates. Evaluate direct reports (using Anglo American’s evaluation model), request capacity-building training and technical visits (via specific forms), and deliver operational training (per departmental procedure manuals), ensuring feedback and development for all subordinates. Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures. Qualifications * Completed Technical Education in Mining or a Bachelor’s degree in related fields. * Active registration with CRT, CFT, or CREA. * Proficiency in open-pit mine infrastructure activities. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * Availability to work under a 4x4 shift regime. * Residency in, or willingness to relocate to, the Barro Alto-GO region.
