Please review the required qualifications and additional information below. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Job Mission:** Develop, lead, and optimize industrial and electrical automation engineering projects, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of industrial assets in coordination with Maintenance and Operations departments, adhering to technical standards, safety regulations, quality (ISO 9000\), environmental (ISO 14000\) requirements, and corporate guidelines, while exercising a high degree of autonomy and technical responsibility. **Responsibilities:** a) Lead industrial and electrical automation projects, performing the following stages: * Definition and validation of technical scope; * Technical and economic feasibility assessment; * Sizing and specification of systems, materials, and resources; * Planning, execution, and commissioning; * Interface with involved departments and stakeholder management; b) Serve as the technical reference for the area, supporting strategic decisions related to automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation; c) Develop and implement industrial automation solutions, including system architecture, PLC and SCADA integration, industrial networks, and digital systems; d) Ensure asset reliability through monitoring and leadership of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, based on technical analyses and performance indicators; e) Conduct failure analyses and propose corrective and preventive actions, ensuring root cause elimination; f) Provide technical management of electrical and automation assets and systems, such as drives, motors, sensors, MCCs, transformers, and control systems; g) Implement and sustain continuous improvements using structured methodologies (A3, Lean, MASP, etc.) to enhance reliability, optimize processes, and reduce costs; h) Develop and monitor performance indicators, as well as lead implementation of action plans to address deviations; i) Develop and qualify suppliers, and interact with national and international suppliers for technical solutions; j) Prepare and review technical documents, work instructions, and engineering standards; k) Know and master various automation equipment used in the plant (Siemens, WEG, Schneider, Danfoss, Yokogawa, Rockwell, among others); l) Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary teams and projects, promoting technical alignment and best practices; m) Deliver technical training and upskill operational and maintenance teams; n) Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations; o) Manage changes (MOC) related to automation and electrical systems. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Basic Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with postgraduate specialization in Automation. * **Professional Registration:** Valid CREA registration. * **Specific Knowledge:** Solid knowledge of industrial automation systems, industrial networks, and asset maintenance. * **Required Experience:** Extensive experience in Automation Engineering, including project leadership and work in an industrial environment. * **Languages:** Intermediate to advanced English. **Additional Information** **What We Offer You** Profit-sharing program Meal allowance/ticket with two additional annual top-ups Totalpass Monthly school tuition assistance for children up to age 18 Reimbursement for eyewear, dental prostheses/implants, and long-term medications School supplies allowance Transportation voucher with no payroll deduction Birthday gift card **And other benefits such as:** Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Pharmacy network agreements The Alubar Group is a manufacturing industry providing solutions in electric cables, aluminum rebars, and aluminum alloys, operating in the fields of electricity transmission and distribution.
