Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanic Assistant to support the maintenance team in activities involving trucks, machinery, and forklifts, ensuring optimal fleet operation. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment. 2. Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of components. 3. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the workshop and work area. We are looking for a **Mechanic Assistant** to support the maintenance team in tasks related to **trucks, machinery, and forklifts**. The professional will assist with basic preventive maintenance services, workshop organization, and equipment preparation, ensuring proper fleet operation and support to responsible mechanics. **Main Responsibilities** * Assist mechanics in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for **trucks, machinery, and forklifts**. * Perform **engine oil changes and filter replacements** (oil, air, fuel, etc.). * Carry out **greasing and lubrication of mechanical components**. * Assist in **refueling vehicles and equipment**. * Support **washing of trucks, machinery, forklifts, and parts**, when required. * Assist in simple disassembly and assembly of components, always under supervision of the responsible mechanic. * Sort tools, parts, and materials required to perform services. * Maintain **organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of the workshop**, tools, and work area. * Support inventory control and storage of maintenance materials (oils, greases, filters, etc.). * Comply with **occupational safety regulations**, correctly using PPE and following company procedures. **Requirements** * **Basic mechanical knowledge**, preferably focused on **trucks, machinery, or forklifts**. * Prior experience in a mechanical workshop, fleet maintenance, or similar services is desirable. **Advantages** * Experience in **truck, heavy-duty, or forklift maintenance**. * Basic training in automotive mechanics or equipment maintenance. **Working Hours**: · Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
